What is a professional recruitment plan

professional development plan is a Document outlining business strategies for employee training and development.

As Obded Delfín explains in his work Training plan development, consists of“the translation expectations and needs from an organisational level for a specific period of weather.

For his part, Idalberto Chiavenato, the author of Human resources management, defines the Training Plan as “A short-term process applied systematically and in an organised manner, by which people acquire knowledge, aptitudes, and skills in line with defined objectives.”.

In short, it is a matter of specifying How, when, and who will participate in training activities to improve your skills and abilities as part of the search for continuous improvement of human capital.

Objectives of the document

In this regard, the professional training plan is configured as a powerful instrument for achieving business excellence, as among its contributions are:

  • Integrating the workforce in the company's activity, by reinforcing the strengths and rectifying the weaknesses of each professional.
  • Optimising professional performance, through the acquisition of new skills and capabilities.
  • Reducing errors and failures during the production process of each worker.
  • To facilitate the achievement of objectives of the organisation and enhance the capacity to adapt to changes by having highly trained personnel.
  • Defining careers The company's employees' growth pathway in the company.
  • Encourage engagement and motivation staff, as training is closely linked to job satisfaction.
  • Improving talent attraction and retention and reduce staff turnover and absenteeism.
  • Contribute to achieving better business results, thanks to greater involvement and productivity from the teams.

Manufacturing process

How is the Professional Training Plan drafted? The development of this document should be carried out following the next steps:

  • Situation analysis. The starting point for a company's professional training plan is a detailed study of the staff training needs based on the company's objectives.
  • Training prioritisation. Once an inventory of each worker's areas for improvement has been made, a hierarchy must be established based on the allocated budget, determining which skills should be developed as a priority.
  • Concretisation of measures. The next step will be the detailed design of the specific actions to be implemented to meet these professional training needs of human capital, in other words, to define how and when continuous improvement will be carried out.
  • Implementation of the strategy. The time has come to take action and implement the planned training programmes, always endeavouring to involve employees as much as possible.
  • Evaluation of the results. The professional training process concludes with a detailed analysis of the strategy, to ascertain the degree of success of each action. This information will allow the document to be redesigned, correcting errors and deviations and continuously improving the plan.

Also, professional training plan can be associated with a policy of Flexible remuneration which facilitates the development of constant improvement, so that the employee can decide what part of their salary they receive in cash and what other part they obtain through training courses with which to acquire greater skills for their job.
