We highlight initiatives such as the gender equality, with a team without a pay gap, as well as actions in favour of women's rights. cultural diversity, the generational exchange and support for the LGTBIQ+ collective, promoting an inclusive and respectful environment for all.
Ideal Day
We reaffirm our commitment to society and the environment by small gestures that can build a more inclusive world. We collaborated with the San Juan de Dios Foundation: in Barcelona, we accompanied elderly people and people with functional diversity, and in Madrid, we helped in one of their therapeutic vegetable gardens and met the residents of the Santa María de Paz Shelter.
#ComparteEdenred and Share the Meal
Edenred reinforces its commitment to solidarity against hunger with two initiatives. Edenred and the ECOLEC Foundation have joined forces to promote the responsible recycling of end-of-life cards, The agreement reinforces Edenred's commitment to sustainability and the environment, avoiding its environmental impact and recovering key materials such as PVC. This agreement reinforces Edenred's commitment to sustainability and the circular economy, promoting environmental protection.
Virtual Restaurant Ticket
The Virtual Restaurant Ticket is the first 100% digital card in Spain, an innovative solution from Edenred that eliminates the use of paper and plastic, with a commitment to sustainability and convenience. Available exclusively in mobile format, this virtual card is more secure, practical and easy to use, preventing losses and guaranteeing maximum control.
Zero Net Carbon Initiative
The aim is to achieve the Net Zero Carbon by 2050 following the methodology SBTi. To this end, we reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, optimise the use of natural resources and adopt renewable energies. Edenred is committed to a sustainable future with clear milestones for 2030 and 2050, in line with the Paris Agreement.
Ethical Charter
At Edenred, commitment to ethics and sustainability is fundamental. Through its ethics charter for all members of the group and the supplier ethics charter, published in 2023, establishes responsible practices throughout the supply chain, promoting sustainable procurement and aligning with its global strategy.
IT security initiatives
Edenred leads the commitment of «Tech for good», using digital innovation to create secure transactions, driving positive and lasting impact. Initiatives such as the Cyber Day and the Data Protection Day reflect its commitment to digital trust, consolidating its position as a leader in technology solutions that connect and benefit businesses, people and communities.
Healthy Eating Initiatives: FOOD Barometer
The FOOD programme promotes healthy eating habits during the working day, helping to prevent diseases such as obesity and improving productivity. According to the FOOD Barometer 2025, 87% of Spaniards prioritise balanced diets with fresh food, and 60% of restaurants confirmed that Ticket Restaurant has enabled them to attract more repeat customers.
Food Waste Initiatives
In Spain 8 million tonnes of food go to waste each year and at Edenred we are committed to combating this problem. An example of this is our collaboration with Oreka Circular Economy to provide tools such as a free app that helps companies manage their surpluses, schedule secure donations to social organisations and reduce waste over time.
