Everyone has their own idea of what makes a person a good leader. This list usually includes trust, integrity, honesty, humility and empathy. However, there is another set of superpowers of leaders or skills desirable in a team leader that, a priori, might seem to you to be worthy of superheroes.
You don't have to wear a red cape or be the son of Zeus, these skills require a lot of practice and self-knowledge. With these two things, you will be able to develop these “superpowers” that will make you an exceptional leader.
A good leader has the ability to anticipate and foresee what will happen in a project, allowing him or her to be proactive and propose quick solutions. This is the first of the superpowers of leaders to be mentioned.
This ability is acquired, above all, through experience. Once you have lived through different situations, you know that when “this happens, this happens”. Make an effort to analyse and learn to identify such situations in order to anticipate them in the future.
This is also known as “reading between the lines”. That is, being able to detect a person's intentions or fears during a conversation even if they do not express them verbally. The tone of their voice, body language and your ability to empathise will give you a clue as to what your interlocutor really means.
With good intentions, of course. A leader leads. And leadership is about convincing others and connecting with them to achieve a common goal.
The third of the leadership superpowers requires you to be able to put yourself in the shoes of others and to be a great communicator, to infect others with your enthusiasm and to reach them with your speech.
A good leader is everywhere, even if others cannot see him or her. The best leaders are able to tell if their employees are making progress even if they are not in the office overseeing absolutely everything. Your instinct and trust in your team will tell you this.
We all like recognition, but a good leader knows when it's time to fade away and give the spotlight to his team in order to improving productivity.

Practice and desire will make you become the leader you want to be, making a positive impact on your team. And all this, without resorting to kryptonite nor radioactive spiders.
