Imagine being able to to feed a person for less than the price of a coffee. It sounds incredible, doesn't it? Well, it's possible. Edenred has reactivated its alliance with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP, for its acronym in English) to launch the Share TheMeal Challenge 2026, an initiative that seeks fund 100,000 meals intended for People in situations of food vulnerability all over the world.
A few 319 million people suffer severe food insecurity globally. In light of this reality, Technology and solidarity become fundamental allies for channelling aid directly, immediately, and effectively.
And this is where it comes in Share TheMeal, a global movement against hunger that allows you donate a complete meal for only 0.70 euros. Less than a euro can feed someone who really needs it, thanks to the work on the ground by WFP, The greatest Humanitarian organisation dedicated to food assistance.
This is not the first time Edenred has championed this cause. In 2025, the company launched the first edition of the Share The Meal Challenge with the aim of funding 100,000 meals. The result exceeded all expectations: 102,916 funded meals were achieved., demonstrating that when wills unite, small gestures are multiplied into real impact.
Now, in 2026, the challenge returns with the same ambitious goal: 100,000 new meals for those who face hunger every day. In addition, according to the World Bank, “every euro invested in nutrition generates an average return of €23 for local economies”, ...thus motivating the development and well-being of those who need it most.
