They do not form part of the payroll, but are intended to <strong data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1377\">improving workers' quality of life and well-being<\/strong>, helping them to reconcile their personal and professional lives.<\/p><p data-start=\"1436\" data-end=\"1633\">The following are considered <strong data-start=\"1450\" data-end=\"1480\">non-monetary benefits<\/strong>, They are not cumulative or exchangeable for cash, and are non-remunerative in nature. As such, they do not give rise to deductions or additional contributions.<\/p><p data-start=\"1635\" data-end=\"1916\">Examples of social benefits are subsidised meals, public transport or health insurance. Their purpose is clear: <strong data-start=\"1795\" data-end=\"1847\">increase team satisfaction and motivation<\/strong>, The company's commitment and image will be strengthened at the same time.<\/p><h2 id=\"h-2-diferencia-entre-beneficios-sociales-y-retribucion-flexible\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the difference between social benefits and flexible compensation?<\/h2><p data-start=\"1992\" data-end=\"2131\">Although the two concepts are often confused, there are important differences between the two. <strong data-start=\"2077\" data-end=\"2100\">social benefits<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2130\">flexible compensation<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"2133\" data-end=\"2473\">La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/en\/flexible-compensation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"2136\" data-end=\"2160\">flexible compensation <\/strong><\/a>allows the employee to decide how much of their gross annual salary they wish to receive in cash and how much in products or services - such as food, transport or childcare. This limit applies only to flexible compensation, as it is part of the employee's salary.<\/p><p data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1614\">On the other hand, the <strong data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1266\">social benefits<\/strong> are <strong data-start=\"1271\" data-end=\"1340\">additional benefits that the company offers over and above salary<\/strong>. They are not deducted from the employee's pay and are therefore not subject to the 30 % limit. They involve an additional cost for the company, but they are <strong data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1544\">100 % deductible for corporate income tax purposes<\/strong> and contribute directly to the well-being and motivation of the team.<\/p><p data-start=\"1616\" data-end=\"1827\">In addition, while flexible compensation is individual and optional, social benefits are usually applied collectively, to the whole workforce or to certain groups or departments.<\/p><p><strong>Despite the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/en\/blog\/diferencia-beneficios-sociales-y-retribucion-flexible\/\">differences between social benefits and flexible compensation<\/a>, The services offered can be the same in both formulas.<\/strong> Goods, entitlements or services such as childcare, restaurant or transport services, which serve as a financial supplement to the worker and help him\/her in his\/her economy.<\/p><p>Let's take a closer look at some examples of social benefits.<\/p><h2 id=\"h-3-tipos\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The social benefits most valued by workers<\/h2><p>Social benefits can take different forms depending on the needs of the team and the company's strategy.
