The amount in euros that appears in this wage base will be the economic amount that the worker will receive, an amount that is fixed by collective agreement or by the Workers' Statute and that depends on the professional level of the worker, their seniority in the company, the number of hours worked during the month, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;If you look closely, you will see that <\/span><b>the total compensation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The worker receives does not form part of a single block, but rather is <\/span><b>is distributed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in several lines or sections, <\/span><b>one of them corresponds to a compensation that is added to the basic salary, known as \u201csalary supplements\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-complementos-salariales-en-la-nomina-cuando-se-aplican\"><b>Payroll bonuses: when are they applied?<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the payroll, there are other lines broken down as follows<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/en\/flexible-compensation\/?utm_source=IC&amp;utm_medium=blog&amp;utm_campaign=inbound\"> <b>salary supplements<\/b><\/a><b>, types <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">extra compensation which, added to the basic salary, constitute the <\/span><b>monthly compensation <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">total that the employee will receive after the corresponding deductions are applied.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-definicion-de-complementos-salariales\"><b>Definition of salary supplements<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/buscar\/act.php?id=BOE-A-2015-11430\"><b>Click here<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if you want to read the definition given in the Workers\u201c Statute on the concept of \u201dsalary supplements\". It appears in <\/span><b>Article 26<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the ET.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wage supplements are part of almost every employee's salary, a salary that, as we have seen, includes <\/span><b>the agreed monthly compensation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and, also, <\/span><b>one or more types of salary supplements<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which complete the economic agreement that the company and the employee signed at the time of formalising the employment contract.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-complementos-salariales-tipos-y-ejemplos\"><b>Wage supplements: types and examples<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><b>There is not only one model, but there are also different types of salary supplements, which are set by law, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">either by the Workers' Statute or ET, or by the collective bargaining agreement of the professional sector to which the employee receiving the salary belongs.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>In Spain, the different types of salary complements provided for in the ET <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">would be as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-complementos-salariales-asignados-por-las-caracteristicas-personales-o-profesionales-del-trabajador\"><b>Wage supplements allocated on the basis of the worker's personal or occupational characteristics<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You know perfectly well <\/span><b>several examples of these types of allowances:<\/b> <b>the antiquity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> knowledge of foreign languages that will improve the employee's performance in his or her position, and <\/span><b>productivity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and work performance, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-complementos-salariales-asignados-por-las-caracteristicas-del-trabajo\"><b>Wage supplements allocated on the basis of the characteristics of the job<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not all jobs are the same in terms of complexity, need for special shifts, etc. Thus, <\/span><b>to reward the worker for the extra effort<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The work involved in carrying out this particular job has led to the creation of certain salary supplements, for example, the <\/span><b>nocturnality<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, The work with <\/span><b>toxic or harmful substances<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the health supplement that provides an incentive for employees to come to work during the hours of work, and <\/span><b>public holidays,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> etc.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-complementos-salariales-asignados-por-las-caracteristicas-de-la-empresa\"><b>Wage supplements allocated according to the characteristics of the undertaking<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Companies that want to have their <\/span><b>happy workers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and thus improve their productivity, they usually allocate their staff various wage supplements that <\/span><b>reward good economic performance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> obtained between all of them.
