Coaching and leadership: the prelude to business success<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Coaching and leadership<\/b> are two fundamental factors for the success of a business.<\/b> On the one hand, there is a need for managers with coaching skills, while on the other hand, there is a need for managers who have the ability to <\/span>leadership style<\/b> appropriate to each circumstance.<\/span>
\nCoherent coaching helps business in different ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \nWhile there are many important leadership skills and competencies, coaching is fundamental to improving the performance of entire teams by applying different tactics, which should include the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Question things and ask good questions:<\/b> is the starting point for continuous improvement and a very effective way of working to develop strong employee relations. In addition, <\/span>In a coaching and leadership context, asking the right questions can help to uncover employees' attitudes and their ability to excel.<\/b><\/li>\n
    • Maintain a positive approach:<\/b> The leader should always try to keep a positive attitude about things, even in difficult situations. This is the way to encourage change for the better and to help others to face any circumstance with serenity.<\/li>\n
    • Support the individual growth of each employee:<\/b> Coaching requires both encouragement and empowerment and, with this in mind, leaders and managers must work with employees to build relationships that result in improved performance. This goal can be achieved when all members of staff feel respected and understand how valuable their contribution to organisational goals is, so it is important to listen to what they have to say and encourage them to share their opinions.<\/li>\n
    • Commit to continuous learning<\/b>in the coaching and leadership<\/b> It is important to lead by example and therefore it might be worthwhile to commit to improving one's own skills and competences. Leading by example will yield the expected results, with the whole team following in the leader's footsteps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Finally, it should not be forgotten that learning is internalised more effectively when it can be applied to current, everyday situations. This means knowing how to take advantage of the moment when employees come to you with a question about a process or protocol to teach them something new that will help them in their development.<\/span>
