Managers must be able to communicate with employees and vice versa. <strong>in a smooth, constant and cordial manner.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>bottom-up communication<\/strong>, from the employees to the management, is a <strong>useful internal communication system <\/strong>which invites subordinate employees of a company to pass on information to their superiors. In this way, and in contrast to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/en\/blog\/la-comunicacion-horizontal-como-hacer-que-la-informacion-fluya\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">horizontal communication<\/a>, the company can take advantage of a <strong>different perspective and point of view<\/strong> that these employees provide and that can be of great value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upward communication provides the organisation with important information such as <strong>employee needs, perceptions and opinions<\/strong>. By knowing this information, the company will be able to act accordingly and adapt its internal policies to meet the specific needs of its employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following are the most important characteristics of bottom-up communication and the advantages and disadvantages of using it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-caracteristicas-de-la-comunicacion-ascendente\">Characteristics of bottom-up communication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned above, bottom-up communication is a process by which team members are encouraged to participate in the management process, making them feel involved in the development of the project. The <strong>most relevant characteristics<\/strong> The following are the main characteristics of this type of communication:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Inclusive task planning<\/strong>. All team members will be involved from the very beginning in the planning and development of the tasks of a given project.
