Although it is most often seen in the workplace, it can occur in other settings as well. For example, coaches incorporate it with their teams and teachers using it in the classroom. The aim of using this method is to encourage everyone to take a more participatory role when decisions need to be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-el-lider-democratico\"><strong>The democratic leader<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any organisation, public or private, can decide to make democratic leadership style a priority within its executive team.<\/strong>. This process generally focuses on group equality to encourage a free flow of ideas and information, but the leader is not exempt from his or her role as a mentor, providing control and guidance throughout the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some groups allow everyone to have a voice in decision-making, while in other cases it is the manager who determines who can be in the group and who has a voice in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ventajas-del-liderazgo-democratico\"><strong>Advantages of democratic leadership<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Democratic leadership style is one of the most effective methods that anyone in an executive position can use.<\/strong>. It often leads to higher levels of productivity, more group contributions and higher morale, because everyone feels they have some level of ownership over what they are asked to do each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The advantages of the democratic leadership style include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. This leadership style connects people to their work.<\/strong>. When employees feel they have a connection with their team and their employer, then they are more inclined to be happy and productive. Improvements are possible by creating greater participation through the democratic process. Workers who feel more engaged also perform better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Promotes the free flow of ideas<\/strong>. Democratic leaders care about involving their team in the problem-solving process. They want them to feel that there is a benefit to be gained when they contribute their knowledge and experience to an outcome. This style provides opportunities for the manager to seek input from others while encouraging each person to make an informed and authoritative decision about what may be possible. <strong>Because more information is available when using this structure, ideas and information flow better and become more usable for each person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. This structure fosters trust and respect throughout the team.<\/strong>. Workers should be in an environment where they feel comfortable sharing an idea with their supervisor. <strong>The democratic leadership style gives each team member the assurance that his or her views will be taken seriously.<\/strong>, even if the idea presented does not become part of the solution. Sustainable relationship-building work is the only way to create this internal environment. It is also true that <strong>democratic leaders must go beyond productivity and performance to create relationships that have meaning. <\/strong>personal and professional. It is this advantage that distinguishes them from the autocratic or transactional leaders at work today. A democratic leader wants to see the person succeed as well as the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Democratic leaders place more emphasis on values and morals.<\/strong>. The democratic leader's belief system will become the basis for what the whole team decides as its identity. People working on the basis of this approach must be convinced that each person in their team has a fundamental right to be heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These managers must facilitate interactions with everyone, even those who are reluctant to join, because doing so provides for the greater good of the whole group.
