When referring to goods <\/span><b>can serve as proof of ownership,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as it is issued by the creditor, who transfers this right in exchange for the payment of a certain price.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/en\/ticket-restaurant\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/7c42037b-40c1-4c64-9a0e-199c146ea085.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><b>It is usual that in a payment receipt, within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/en\/blog\/balance-contabilidad-preguntas-y-respuestas\/\">balance sheet<\/a>, information is collected on:<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><b>The goods or services for which an amount is paid.<\/b><\/li><li><b>Its price.<\/b><\/li><li><b>The existence of discounts, if any.<\/b><\/li><li>Applicable taxes.<\/li><li>The total amount paid.<\/li><li>The chosen method of payment.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><b>It is not uncommon for such receipts to include full information about the seller or service provider.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> However, the data it collects about the buyer tends to be more limited.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-diferencias-con-facturas-y-pedidos\">Differences with invoices and orders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><b>It is important not to confuse this receipt with the invoice. <\/b>(for more information, see this article for more details on what an invoicing programme is). Y<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">although both documents are issued by the creditor, in the latter case what is issued is a request for payment, which can be fixed for a certain period of time, e.g. 30, 60 or 90 days.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Nor is the payment receipt the same as the order,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> since a purchase order authorises the shipment or delivery of goods by expressing the decision to pay the agreed price for them.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>The receipt's most widespread function is as a proof of payment, especially in the online environment,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> where it is used to reinforce the buyer's security and to help him to prove his ownership of the object of the contract, should it be necessary to provide evidence.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-que-datos-debe-contener-un-recibo-de-pago\">What information a payment receipt must contain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><b>This type of receipt is more than a purely transactional document, as it contributes to improving the relationship between the buyer and the seller or service provider by bringing transparency to the agreed exchange.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While there is no form set out in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/buscar\/doc.php?id=BOE-A-2009-18118\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Law<\/a> The Commission's proposal for a new regulation is a good example of how the EU should be governed, but it is important that it is taken into account when making one:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The need to head the document with a title stating that it is a payment receipt.<\/span><\/li><li>The name and company name of the issuer of the receipt.<\/li><li>Include a reference to the concept for which the payment has been made or to the invoice itself.<\/li><li>The total amount that the buyer or service taker has paid and the amount that remains to be paid, if any.<\/li><li>The means of payment used.<\/li><li>The date on which the payment becomes effective.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, <\/span><b>there are other elements that should not be missing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. These are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><b>The original price of the good or service and any applicable discounts<\/b>, <b>as well as the applicable tax rate.<\/b><\/li><li><b>Additional costs and surcharges<\/b> that increase this price, which should be detailed in the breakdown of the amount. Shipping costs would be an example.<\/li><li>Any other information relevant to the sale, such as the <b>return policy or warranty information must also appear on the payment receipt.<\/b>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/en\/ticket-restaurant\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.edenred.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/b005047c-9660-4777-b50d-ffe57e066415-3.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un recibo de pago es un documento que acredita que el pago por un producto o servicio se ha producido efectivamente, cerrando as\u00ed el proceso de venta.
